Om is a duo formed in 2003 by the rhythm section of the disbanded doom metal band Sleep. feature Al Cisneros on vocals and bass and Chris Hakius on drums. This is their second and in my opinion best record.

Levon Helm Dirt Farmer

A departure from the kind of thing i usually post on here, Levon Helm's 2007 album Dirt Farmer. His voice is gravelier than ever after treatment for throat cancer. All the songs are about farming and he sounds like the real deal. Get this.

Harkonen

This band has had a lot of line-up changes and releases to keep track. They formed in 97' and split up after their last release 05'. They had a couple releases under Hydra-Head and splits with These Arms Are Snakes and Breather Resist. The vocalist went on to form Helms Alee who are also very good. Here are the Grizz (2001), Dancing (2003) and Like A Virgin (2005) albums.

Into Another Ignaurus

Into Another were a progressive metal band formed by ex members of Bold, Underdog and Whiplash. This is their third release on Revelation records, it by far there best.
